Its been awhile since my last post but have no fear, I am still alive and well and living life on the Celebrity Solstice. We're back in Barcelona for the start of cruise #3, a shorter 6 day cruise called a "half charter". Apparently, some marketing company rented out the entire ship for 6 days…then they get to sell about half of the guest cabins to whoever they can and the other half is open to other guests. I think they get to pick the itinerary as well, which is why we're going to Tunisia, even though theres been so much civil unrest, but it doesn't really matter- I'm excited to visit North Africa. Crew members need to get special passes to go ashore, and we've been told not to wear jewelry or take expensive stuff with us, so I may not get to take any pictures from land.
I am also uploading a bunch of new photos from this past cruise, including Venice!!!
I'll post more about lots of things, possibly later tonight, but internet has been spotty on the ship so I'm not sure.
